The next branch meeting of the Unite St Vincent Street Branch will take place between 12noon and 1pm on Wednesday 5th Feb in the auditorium.

In accordance with Unite’s rulebook, it is necessary to hold a ballot to elect members of Unite’s Executive Council, to hold office from 1st May 2014 to 30th April 2017.

Under ballot rules, our branch is required to hold a meeting during the nomination period (between 13th January and 11th February) in order to determine our nomination for the following seats on the Unite Executive Council:

·        Regional representatives
·        Industrial Sector representatives
·        Representatives to forward to the National Women’s committee, BAEM (Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority) committee, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) committee and Disabled Members committee

As well as the ballot, at this meeting we will also have updates from Royal London and Capita reps about the current discussions in their respective pay negotiations, as well as any other standard branch business.
