The next branch meeting of the Unite
St Vincent Street Branch will take place between 12noon and 1pm on Wednesday 5th
Feb in the auditorium.
In accordance with Unite’s rulebook,
it is necessary to hold a ballot to elect members of Unite’s Executive Council,
to hold office from 1st May 2014 to 30th April 2017.
Under ballot rules, our branch is
required to hold a meeting during the nomination period (between 13th January and
11th February) in order to determine our nomination for the following seats on
the Unite Executive Council:

Regional representatives
·
Industrial Sector representatives
·
Representatives to forward to the National
Women’s committee, BAEM (Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority) committee,
LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) committee and Disabled Members
committee
As well as the ballot, at this
meeting we will also have updates from Royal London and Capita reps about the
current discussions in their respective pay negotiations, as well as any other
standard branch business.
