Dear Colleague
Unite members vote yes to both forms of industrial action. The ballot for industrial action has now concluded and a copy of the full result is enclosed for your attention. In summary, members have voted 4 to 1 in favour of strike action and 9 to 1 in favour of action short of a strike.
You should not take any industrial action unless and until officially instructed to do so by the Union.
Capita have been informed of the result and have asked to meet with Unite tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 14th) which we have agreed.
A further members’ communication from Unite will follow the meeting.
